Deparment of Religious Culture and Ethıcs Knowledge Education of Theology Faculty was founded 2013-2014 academic year and started education-teaching in this year. |
Qualification Awarded |
This department, within the scope of four-year education faculties, is subject to 240 ECTS credits undergraduate grading system. Students who provide required program proficiencies and completed program successfully are awarded with Bachelors Degree in Primary Teacher Training in Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge field. |

Candidates must have high school diploma or equivalent, and must get adequate score on the Student Selection and Placement Exam. Students of equivalent programs, domestic or abroad, may apply for transfer or student exchange programs.

Profile of The Programme |
Our department's aim is toeducate students to be able to make use of scientific knowledge in the field of Religion and Ethics for Teachers in the framework of educational aims based on scientific data, interpreting, religious and cultural heritage, developing and producing solutions to the problems encountered, constructive criticism, respect for different views and beliefs.
Our department's aim is to train teachers, equipped with a view of nonsectarian and interfaith dialogue to give accurate information about the nature of religion in the context of an understanding of teaching and learning skills, Religion and Ethics course in accordance with the understanding of religious education as a social science. |
