Objectives of the Course
Students know the basic articles of the Islamic doctrine in the light of classical Arabic texts and gain the ability to make comparisons between diffrent ideas.

1- Faith, the nature of faith from an arabic text 2- The relationship between faiht and practice, terms like kufr, shirk etc. 3- The belief in God and the arguments about God. 4- The names and the attributes of God from an arabic text 5- Predestination from an arabic text 6- Other theological issues from an arabic text, such as salah, hikma, husn etc. 7- Prophecy in İslam 8- The need ot the prophets, the attributes of prophets from an arabic text 9- Holy boks and the Quran 10- Unseen creatures, malak, jinn etc 11- Unseen creatures, malak, jinn etc 12- The hereafter life from an Arabic source 13- Heaven and hell in the Islamic theology
