Objectives of the Course
To introduce the oral and written products of Turkish Literature, to provide information about the effects of the acceptance of Islam on our literature and the first works written in this period, to teach the theoretical issues related to the definition, scope and target of Turkish Islamic Literature which developed under the influence of Islam.

Learning Outcomes
1He compares similar and different aspects between the pre-Islamic and after Islamic Turkish literature
2He knows the role of Arab and Iranian literature in the development of our Dıvan Literature
3To be able to recognize the relationship between religion and literature on the axis of literary genres that emerged with Islam.
4Knows the important artists and works of Turkish Islamic literature in the context of centuries.
5He learns where is the first Turkish Islamic works of literature written and notices these works has reflection of later periods.
6Knows and explains the products of Turkish Islamic literature in terms of shape and content.
7He begins to apply in the Divan poetry samples literary arts.

The religious-literary content of the Turks under the influence of Islamic culture from the Xth century when they accepted Islam to the present day.
