General Description
History
Considering the impact of organicization of agriculture on continuity, the necessity of education in this field is obvious. In the report of the Ministry of National Education of Bayburt University, it was elected to the 30th article according to the calendar numbered 28/03/1983 and numbered 2809, to the 30th article/additional article by the Council of Ministers, and to the decree no.16/2016 dated and numbered/ by the Council of Ministers. In our school, the variant of the law numbered 2547 with the law numbered 2880 has been numbered by the Supreme Council in the 3rd content of the law numbered 7/d-2. Considering the demand for the current undergraduate education and the potential effects of the course content on the Turkish and World food agenda, it has been concluded that importance should be given to postgraduate education in the field and subsequently, a master's degree was established in the spring term of 2016-2017 and the first school enrollment was taken from this program.
Qualification Awarded
Having taken at least 21 credits (equivalent to 60 ECTS) courses from the graduate programs of the department or other related departments and successfully completing all of them, obtaining a weighted grade point average of at least 2.0 out of 4.00, and successfully prepared by a jury selected and prepared in a field related to the subject. Students who successfully defend a thesis are awarded a master's degree in ORGANIC AGRICULTURAL MANAGEMENT.

Being a graduate of Universities' Fisheries, Agriculture, Agricultural Sciences and Technologies, Agriculture and Natural Sciences, Veterinary Faculties (All Departments), Faculty of Applied Sciences/School of Organic Agriculture Management, Faculty of Science/Science and Letters, Chemistry and Biology Departments, Business Administration of Related Faculties, To be graduated from Economics, Labor Economics and Industrial Relations Departments, Engineering Faculty Food Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering Departments, Health Sciences Faculty-Health Management, Health Institutions Management, Health Administration and Food Technology Departments.
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal)
Having a bachelor's degree from the fields specified in the admission and registration conditions, getting the required score from the graduate entrance exam (ALES).
Qualification Requirements and Regulations
The conditions that students must meet in order to obtain a master's degree in Organic Agricultural Management; a) To take 21 credits (corresponding to 60 ECTS) courses and pass at least a CC degree, b) To have a weighted average of at least 2.0 out of 4.0, c) To be successful by preparing a master's thesis and presenting it in front of a jury
Profile of The Programme
1- To be able to access information and to search for resources for this purpose, to use databases and other information resources effectively, and to develop a positive attitude towards lifelong learning. 2- Being a multidisciplinary graduate program, to gain the ability to conduct interdisciplinary and interdisciplinary teamwork. 3- The development of individual work, initiative and creativity skills. 4- To be able to develop a sense of professional and ethical responsibility. 5- The main profile of the program is to be able to communicate effectively, entrepreneurial, verbal and written, open to exchange of information and ideas.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples
Those who complete this program work in agricultural enterprises, state-owned laboratories, enterprises in the relevant sector, and fields such as land. They can find employment opportunities as specialists in greenhouses, businesses, land and vineyards, orchards of private entrepreneurs and in organizations belonging to municipalities. In addition, they can do these jobs with their knowledge and skills, regardless of being tied. They can continue their academic careers with a doctorate program, and if they fulfill the conditions, they can apply to academic staffs to be opened by universities. For example, our student named Mustafa Bora Meşeli, who has completed the Organic Agricultural Management Master's program at our university and has started the PhD program in the same department, works as a Research Assistant in our faculty, provided that he meets the other conditions determined by the university.
Access to Further Studies
Graduate students can apply to doctorate programs in different disciplines such as agriculture, agricultural economics and business administration after their master's degree, depending on the conditions of universities.
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
In order for students to be successful in a course, the semester average of that course must be at least 60. In converting the grade given out of 100 points to a letter grade; weights of midterm, midterm studies and final exam are taken into account. For each course, at least one midterm exam is given each semester. 40% in case of a midterm exam, 40% in case of more than one midterm exam and semester studies, the contribution of the total percentage of these exams and semester studies to the letter grade is determined by the lecturer of the course. The contribution of the final exam to the letter grade is 60%. When determining the success grade of the student who took the make-up exam, the make-up exam grade is used instead of the final exam grade. At the end of the semester, students who drop their semester grade point average below 2.00 after the make-up exam are considered successful in the courses with a letter grade (DC) because their semester grade point average is 2.00 and above.
Graduation Requirements
Students who successfully complete the compulsory and elective courses in the curriculum in our program, who make the compulsory seminar presentation and successfully defend the thesis they have prepared, and who meet the conditions specified in the graduate education regulations of Bayburt University, are entitled to receive a master's degree.
