Learning Outcomes
1Basic principles of reproduction in organic horticultural cultivation
2Gains knowledge about the definition of propagation by seed, its aims, seed development, biological and physiological properties of seed, resting and germination in seeds, seed preservation and seed tests.
3Knows the methods of reproduction with steel, tuber, rhizome.
4Knows propagation methods by grafting, immersion and tissue culture method.

Course Contents
In accordance with the regulation in Organic Agriculture, the reproduction materials have to be of organic origin. The seed, seedling and seedling cultivation methods of the vegetables, fruits and vineyards in the types of garden plants will be given.

10Basic concepts in vaccine propagation, reasons for grafting and factors affecting the success of the vaccine.
11Vaccine incompatibility, vaccine types and vaccine fusion.
12Applications in the grafting process and their use in horticultural crops.
13Physiology of immersion reproduction, immersion systems and application of immersion
14Modified and specialized, stems and roots, propagation and use in horticultural crops.
15Propagation by tissue culture and use in horticultural crops.
