To be able to define the problem within the scope of the selected subject and to make a thesis work individually with the solution-oriented studies

1To gain the ability of the student to carry out a thesis work together with the field studies individually To gain the ability of the student to perform the necessary analysis stage for the thesis individually To gain individual experience in using conceptual tools and skills gained during undergraduate education in a planning process To gain the ability to apply concepts in city and regional planning discipline to planning problems and field work in Turkey (to establish a relationship between theory and practice) To gain the ability to conceptualize, process and explain the subject by using the theories of Urbanism by establishing cause-and-effect relations.

Course Contents
It is a study chosen by the student in relation to the project work and developed by mutual consultation with his / her advisor at certain periods of time. Within the scope of the course, theoretical approaches, concepts, national and international examples supporting the project work are examined and compared with the field of study.
