Objectives of the Course
527/5000 The main objective of the course is to introduce the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) as an implementation tool created within the scope of sustainable development, and the subsequent Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) developed due to the deficiencies of the EIA and to establish their relationship with urban planning. In addition, within the scope of the course, the approach of these application tools to environmental problems is evaluated, and thus, it is aimed to give the student a critical perspective on sustainable development.
