| Profile of The Programme |
| The Preschool Teacher program runs a program designed to educate effective preschool teachers with basic knowledge and skills in the field of preschool education and child development. The program includes compulsory courses related to the teaching profession and general culture. In addition to compulsory courses, students are offered the opportunity to choose according to their own preferences in the education plan. Thus, the Preschool Teaching Program educates graduates who can provide the necessary education and continue their professional development by considering the developmental characteristics of children between the ages of 0-6 through interdisciplinary studies both individually and in groups. |

Our students who graduate from our department (if they get the required score from KPSS) can work as teachers in independent kindergartens affiliated to the Ministry of National Education, kindergartens connected to primary education, nurseries and kindergartens affiliated to institutions and private nurseries and kindergartens. Those who want to have an academic career among our graduates can continue their postgraduate education with the Pre-School Education Graduate Program. |

| Candidates who have successfully completed their undergraduate education can study in the postgraduate doctoral program provided that they get a valid grade from the ALES exam and have sufficient knowledge of English. |

| Department of Primary Education, connected to the Pre School Education Department, consists of 1 Professor and 1 Associate. Professor and 3 Asst. Prof. In addition, the lessons are conducted in classrooms that are adequately equipped in every respect. However, teaching practice and school experience lessons are carried out in primary schools under the guidance of the Ministry of Education. In the scope of applications of the community service course, students are provided with participation in the social services in cooperation with different institutions belonging to the public. The cooperation between departments in the Primary Education Department also helps students develop as teachers in this direction. |
