Objectives of the Course |
The main aim of the course is; To recognize family and child culture, to have knowledge about family and child in Turkish culture from past to present, to examine what changes childhood has been, to ensure that the child-family-society relationship is assimilated in a social and cultural context. Also with this course; To individuals who will specialize in early childhood education; It is aimed to give a perspective on conceptualization of childhood. |

Turkish family structure; raising children in different Turkish states and their value; Family culture, traditions and customs in Anatolia; Nuclear family interaction with extended family; marriage ceremonies, funerals, the roles and duties of the community-sensitive family counselor. |
