Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to provide students basic knowledge about the meaning and functions of art, the identity of artist and the necessity of art education in individuals' multi -faced development; and to teach basic skills and knowledge in two and three-dimensional art practices in early childhood education; and to gain knowledge and understanding on children's artistic development by looking at their pictures gaining this knowledge students use those pictures as a way of assessment of children's multi- faced development.

1By the end of course, successful students will be able to; obtain knowledge and skill in four disciplines of art education, art philosophy and aesthetics, art criticism and art production
2recognize a variety of art movements, artists and their works; and compare them with each other
3criticize art works; distinguish art and industrial objects, enquire knowledge about museum and gallery education and need to visit these places
4define children's artistic development; and analyze children's drawings, have recognize
5prepare and practice two and three dimensional art materials, tools, methods and techniques practiced in early childhood education
