Objectives of the Course
The main aim of the course is; The aim of this course is to enable students to recognize educational music, to create knowledge to manage the interest and ability of children in art and music, and to acquire behaviors that will govern the process of teaching music.

1Basic components of music, basic music information; know and understand the information of note, the concept of interval in music and the concept of rhythm in music.
2Creates a song repertoire.
3Turkey and the world knows music genres and formats.
4Understand and analyze the transition from traditional music to contemporary music.
5Plays a musical instrument individually and collectively.
6Know and explain the role of music in education and the importance of musical hearing in developing creativity.

Course Contents
The importance of music in preschool education, the relationship between music and education; Musical development and musical skills of 0-8 years old child; the use of music in achieving the goals in preschool education program and creating a suitable repertoire; introduction and analysis of children's songs, criteria to be considered in the selection of children's songs; song teaching techniques for preschool children; establishment of educational environment and equipment related to music education in preschool education institutions; spiral education model integrated with music events.
