Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) |
The issue of recognition of prior learning in the Council of Higher Education is still in its infancy. For this reason, recognition of prior learning has not been fully initiated in all programs of Bayburt University. However, exemption exams are organized at the beginning of each semester for courses such as English in the education plans of the programs. Students who think that they have achieved the learning outcomes expected from such courses can take these exams. Students who are successful in the exam are exempted from the relevant course in the curriculum. |
Qualification Requirements and Regulations |
Students who successfully complete a total of 240 ECTS credits from the courses in the curriculum and obtain a grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 and receive a passing grade from the internship report are awarded a bachelor's degree in INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING. |

Graduates of the Industrial Engineering program will be able to design, plan, control, implement, analyze and develop complex and integrated manufacturing and service systems at macro and micro level in the near future, follow scientific developments in their field, and contribute to national and international innovative studies. They are individuals who are prone to interdisciplinary teamwork and have leadership skills. |

Graduates of the Department of Industrial Engineering, which educates its students with the knowledge and skills to work as senior managers in all companies, generally work in manufacturing organizations, but especially in recent years, they can also be employed in service systems such as finance, logistics, health, banking, informatics and communication sectors. Industrial Engineers who undertake important tasks in the creation of systems in enterprises can find jobs in positions such as planning engineer, purchasing engineer, product development specialist, business analyst, project manager, process engineer. |
