The department was established by Faculty of Health Science at Bayburt University which was founded according to the meeting of Higher Education Executive Council at 14/07/2015 and with the legislation number 4633. The legislation number 2809 was changed to legislation number 4633 with the addition of clause number 30. The Department has started to education the academic year of 2017-2018. |

Students are accepted to the program according to the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) EA score type conducted by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) and the principles determined by the Council of Higher Education.

Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) |
Students who come to the program with undergraduate and vertical transfer can be exempted from the decision of the Board of Directors for the associate degree and bachelor's degree that they have taken and completed before.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations |
In the Department of Health Management, which consists of courses with theoretical content, the student must successfully complete all available courses (240 ECTS in total) after four years of education and have a GPA of at least 2.00 out of 4.00. In addition, in order to graduate, students must successfully complete the Professional Practice I and Professional Practice II semester internships. |
Profile of The Programme |
The education period of the program is four years and the language of instruction is Turkish. The program includes compulsory and elective courses with theoretical content related to the field of health management. In addition, the program includes mid-term internships called Vocational Practice I and Vocational Practice II in the first and second semesters of the fourth year. Thus, students who successfully complete their courses and mid-term internships graduate with the title of Health Institutions Manager.

Graduates; They can take part in the management of private sector institutions and organizations that provide health services at different levels, such as the Ministry of Health, universities, hospitals affiliated with the Armed Forces, public and private hospitals, pharmaceutical and medical device companies, and insurance companies. They may also have the opportunity to work as inspectors and specialists in various public institutions. |
Access to Further Studies |
Graduates who complete the program and have sufficient ALES and Foreign Language Knowledge can pursue postgraduate education in fields such as Health Management and Health Institutions Management. |
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading |
The method of measurement and evaluation applied for each course is determined by the Bayburt University Associate and Undergraduate Education Regulation Principles and students will be subject to midterm, final and, if necessary, make-up exams. |
Graduation Requirements |
Students who have successfully completed all courses and internships prescribed in the program, received a total of at least 240 ECTS credits and have a GPA of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 are entitled to receive a diploma. |
