History
The Master's Program in Islamic Law was established in the spring semester 2021-2022.
Qualification Awarded
Students who graduate from this program are entitled to receive a Master's Degree (Scientist) diploma in Islamic Law from the Department of Basic Islamic Sciences.

Specific Admission Requirements
Graduating from any of the undergraduate programs of the Faculty of Theology, Faculty of Islamic Sciences, Faculty of Religious Sciences, İDKAB Education. Having at least 55 points in the ALES score type (from the last 5 years) of the Islamic Law Master's program.
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal)
The provisions of the "Regulation on the Principles of Transfer Between Associate and Undergraduate Programs, Double Major, Minor and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfer in Higher Education Institutions" apply.
Qualification Requirements and Regulations
Islamic Law Thesis master's program consists of a total of at least 120 ECTS credits, including at least eight courses, including the seminar course, and thesis work, provided that it is not less than 60 ECTS credits in one academic semester. Provided that the thesis exam is successful and the other conditions required for graduation are met by the institute, the graduate student who submits at least three bound copies of the master's thesis to the relevant institute within one month from the date of taking the thesis exam and whose thesis is found to be suitable in terms of form, will receive a master's degree diploma with thesis. is given.
Profile of The Programme
The aim of the Islamic Law Master's Program is to train researchers who are experienced in their field, have critical thinking skills, have knowledge in relevant branches of science and can transfer this knowledge nationally and internationally. It is the preparation of successful master's students for doctoral studies.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples
Students who graduate from the Islamic Law Master's program can perform their duties in the fields of religious services and education more knowledgeably and effectively. In addition, they can work as lecturers and research assistants at universities.
Access to Further Studies
Students who successfully complete the Islamic Law Master's Program can enroll in doctoral programs, provided that they receive sufficient scores from ALES (Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Examination) and have the required foreign language score.
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
There is at least one midterm exam and final exam for each course. The impact of midterm exams on the success grade is 30%, and the impact of the final exam is 70%. All exams are evaluated out of 100 points. Students who receive one of the letter grades (AA), (BA), (BB), (CB) and (CC) from a course are successful.
Graduation Requirements

There are 2 Professors, 1 Associate Professor, 2 Assistant Professors and 1 Research Assistant in the Department of Islamic Law. Sufficient classrooms, meeting rooms, etc. facilities are available.

6Knows the main subjects of Islamic law in classical and modern sources, and can compare Islamic law and other legal systems within the scope of comparative law methods.
