The Anesthesia Program started to provide education and training within the Department of Medical Services and Techniques at Bayburt Health Services Vocational School in the 2020-2021 Academic Year. |

For the recognition of prior learning in higher education institutions, the provisions of the "Regulation on the Principles of Transferring Between Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs in Higher Education Institutions, Double Major, Minor and Credit Transfer Between Institutions" are applied. |
Qualification Requirements and Regulations |
Anesthesia Program graduates are expected to be able to follow up patients before, during and after anesthesia and to implement necessary interventions, to be prone to teamwork, to be sensitive to patient rights, to be able to work in accordance with quality standards by following up-to-date practices. In order to successfully complete the program, it is necessary to pass all the courses available in the program (for 120 ECTS), to achieve a weighted grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 and to successfully complete the summer internship (30 working days). |
Profile of The Programme |
The purpose of the Anesthesia Program; Importance of ethical values in the Anesthesiology and Reanimation units of healthcare institutions and organizations, which can prepare and use the devices and equipment used in anesthesia, monitor and keep records of vital functions during the applications, support the anesthesiologist during the anesthesia application and provide patient control after surgery health personnel who are equipped with modern knowledge and skills and who will fulfill their legal powers and responsibilities. |
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples |
Our graduates; They can work in the Operating Room and Operating Room units of public and private hospitals affiliated to the Ministry of Health, in line with the physician's instructions. |
Access to Further Studies |
If our graduates are successful in the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) conducted by ÖSYM; They can make vertical transfers to Nursing, Health Services and Emergency Aid and Disaster Management Undergraduate Departments. |

The principles regarding the exams and grade assessment specified in the Bayburt University Associate Degree and Undergraduate Education and Training Regulation are taken into consideration. |

Facilities |
All classrooms where the lessons are conducted have a smart board, projector and internet connection. Courses that require a computer application are carried out in the Computer Laboratory, which includes 60 computers. Internet access via wired-wireless networks is unlimited in this laboratory. This laboratory, where students can get service using their own personal computers, is also open to students outside of class hours. |
