Objectives of the Course |
The aim of this course; The aim is to raise individuals who have learned the basic concepts of occupational safety and occupational health and methods of protection from work accidents and occupational diseases in line with the legislation, are aware of chemical and physical hazards, and know how to use personal protectors. |

Course Contents |
Workplace safety and threatening elements. Definition of job security. The importance of job security. The purpose of job security. Worker health. Common safety precautions regarding work machine tools. Determination of protective tools, occupational accidents, injuries and severity of injury. Causes of work accident. Effects of accidents on labor and economy. The duty of the state in ensuring occupational health and safety. Obligations of workers on occupational health and safety. Workers' rights and responsibilities. Employee's refusal to work. The right to terminate the employment contract for just cause. OHS management system. Occupational health and safety management systems applied in European Union countries. Initiatives aimed at promoting the development of occupational health and safety management systems. |
