To be able to identify patients with life threatening multi-organ failure, to learn how to approach the patient in case of any complication or risk

Learning Outcomes
1To be able to recognize the basic concepts, general principles, tools and equipment related to intensive care.
2To be able to recognize the complications that may develop in bed-related patients in the intensive care unit and to take the necessary precautions.
3To have sufficient knowledge about acute respiratory failure and to know the care of the patient in mechanical ventilator.
4To be able to recognize the causes of coma and mental status change and to know the unconscious patient care at the optimum level.
5Performs the roles of practitioner, educator, researcher, manager, advocate, consultant, quality improvement, collaboration and communication.
