History
It was established in 2021. Starting from this year, students have been accepted for the fall and spring semesters.

Students who successfully complete the program are considered scientific experts with a master's degree in Turkish Education.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations
For the master's degree in the Department of Turkish Education, it consists of a total of at least 120 ECTS credits, including at least eight courses, including the seminar course, and thesis work, provided that it is not less than 60 ECTS credits in one academic year. Students who are subject to the 2023 Curriculum must take a seminar along with one compulsory and two elective courses on a semester basis. Students who successfully complete these stages can proceed to thesis work.
Profile of The Programme
Our Thesis Master's Program in Turkish Education consists of academics who are experts in their fields and the necessary studies are carried out together with the courses. This program aims to ensure that students have the competence to conduct research at the upper level cognitive level in the field of Turkish education by being familiar with scientific research methods and ethical principles, and to conduct research in this context. After graduating from the program, the primary goal is for students to be able to serve Turkish education competently in different positions at home and abroad as Turkish education experts.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples
Students graduating from this program are employed as instructors, teachers, lecturers, research assistants and experts in private/public sectors.
Access to Further Studies
Students who graduate from this program can study in doctoral programs in Turkish education and teaching/training Turkish as a foreign language.
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
Exams; It consists of midterm exam, final exam, excuse exam, exemption exam and make-up exam. (2) Exams; It can be done in written, oral or both written, oral and/or practical ways. For specific courses/applications, exams can be administered orally and practically by at least three faculty members. The types of exams are announced within the first two weeks of the relevant semester. (3) At least one midterm exam is held for each course. (4) The duration of midterm exams is one lesson hour, and the duration of the final exam and make-up exams is two lesson hours. (5) Graduate students who cannot take the midterm exams due to excuses deemed appropriate by the relevant institute board of directors are given the right to take a make-up exam by the institute board of directors.
Graduation Requirements
Students' course success In formal graduate programs, the success grade is calculated by taking the sum of 30% of the midterm exam grade average and 70% of the final exam or make-up exam. In postgraduate programs conducted through distance education, the success grade is calculated by taking the sum of 20% of the midterm exam grade average and 80% of the final exam or make-up exam. c) The passing grade in thesis and non-thesis master's programs must be at least 65 points out of 100 points. In addition to the course period, students can graduate if they successfully complete their specialization course, seminar and thesis study.
