General Description
History
The industrial engineering master's program with thesis started its education and teaching activities in the fall semester of 2023-2024.
Qualification Awarded
Students who successfully complete the courses equivalent to at least 60 ECTS from the courses available in the graduate program, obtain a grade point average of at least 2.0 out of 4.00, and successfully defend a thesis prepared in a field related to the program and successfully defended by a selected jury are awarded a master's degree in Industrial Engineering.

Graduating from a department or faculty that meets the "Graduation Prerequisites for Application to Graduate Programs" determined by the Graduate Education Institute Board and approved by the BAYBURT University Senate and having a sufficient score from ALES (NUMERICAL)
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal)
Bachelor's degree from acceptable fields, having received therequired score from the Graduate Entrance Exam (ALES)
Qualification Requirements and Regulations
In order to obtain a master's degree in Industrial Engineering, students are required to: a) take 30 credits (equivalent to 60 ECTS) of courses and pass them with at least CC grade, b) have a weighted average of at least 2.0 out of 4.0, c) prepare a thesis and present it in front of a jury and be successful.
Profile of The Programme
The aim of the Industrial Engineering program is to provide graduates of engineering departments with the theoretical and experimental knowledge that will enable them to produce solutions to production, service and socio-economic systems by teaching industrial engineering and operations research methods.
