History | Bayburt University Graduate Education Institute Coaching Training program started its education and training activities at Baberti Campus in the 2022-2023 academic year. | Qualification Awarded | In the Coaching Training Program, students can gain comprehensive and systematic knowledge about concepts such as health, sports, movement training, training sciences and psychosocial development processes. In addition, students will be able to access information by effectively using technology in the education and training process, analyze the information they access, and have the competence to report the information they analyze. | Level of Qualification (Short Cycle , First Cycle , Second Cycle, Third Cycle) | Second Cycle | Specific Admission Requirements | Student admission and registration conditions are carried out within the framework of Bayburt University Postgraduate Education and Training Regulation. There is no ALES score requirement for non-thesis master's programs. Prospective students who apply are included in the program rankings according to their undergraduate graduation grade point average. | Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) | If the content and ECTS of the course successfully completed at the Master's level at a different institution is similar to the course in the Bayburt University Graduate Education Institute Coaching Training Program curriculum, the student may be exempt from the course in question with the approval of the Institute Board of Directors. | Qualification Requirements and Regulations | | Profile of The Programme | The Postgraduate Coaching Training Program implements an educational curriculum covering sports, health and training. Within the framework of these curricula, the general profile of the program is to train scientific experts who are open to research, enterprising, embrace regional and universal values, are competent in their field, and will add value to the society and humanity. | Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples | | Access to Further Studies | Students who complete the ECTS load and project writing in the non-thesis Coaching education master's program are entitled to receive a non-thesis master's diploma. They can transfer to higher degree programs within the framework of the relevant regulation. | Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading | n the Graduate Coaching Education Program, students are required to register for courses within the period specified in the academic calendar and to attend courses in the relevant semester. Exams in Bayburt University Postgraduate Education and Training Regulation; It is organized as midterm exam, final exam, make-up exam, graduation exam and make-up exam. Students are required to attend at least 70% of the courses. Students who do not meet these conditions are considered absent. Evaluations in exams are made over 100 points. | Graduation Requirements | Postgraduate Coaching Education Non-thesis master's program is determined as a minimum of 2 semesters and a maximum of 3 semesters, excluding the scientific preparation period. 1 | Students will be able to study sports, health, physical fitness, coaching training, athletic performance measurement methods at the master's level; Analyzes, evaluates and reports national and international literature on topics related to talent selection. They produce solutions to the problems they encounter in practice by carrying the knowledge they have gained to application environments. | 2 | Students adapt to technological developments in sports. They obtain scientific information using technology, interpret, analyze and report the information they obtain. With their multidisciplinary perspective, they take part in national and international project teams in the field of sports sciences. | 3 | Students continuously improve their professional knowledge and skills by attending national and international trainings, courses, workshops, seminars and congresses within the framework of lifelong education. By increasing their professional collaboration, they gain problem solving, understanding and application competencies. | 4 | Students have the competence to create self-research and learning environments in order to increase their knowledge about the coaching profession. With the awareness of lifelong learning, they access scientific sources, analyze, interpret and report the information they obtain. They improve their professional knowledge and skills as well as their communication networks by participating in national and international workshops and congresses.
