Specific Admission Requirements |
Candidates who have graduated from the related fields of vocational high schools can be registered to the program without passing an exam. Those who graduate from high schools other than vocational high schools can register for the program by getting enough points from the exam held by the student selection and placement center. |
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) |
For students who wants to transfer to the and Bayburt University from higher education institutions in foreign countries, Turkey's Higher Education and Bachelors Degree Level Between Programs in Transition, Double Major, the Interagency Minor Transfer of Credit to our university with the Regulation on the Principles relating to transfer set by the Senate Assessment Terms apply. Horizontal Transfer Quotas are announced by the Higher Education Council. Evaluation is; It is made by the commissions formed in faculties and colleges and announced by the relevant committees. |

The student must complete 120 ECTS credits during the 2-year education. In order to graduate from the program, students must complete all the courses they have taken and the industry-based learning internship which is 30 working days, the GPA must be at least 2.00 out of 4.00 and no failed courses. |
Profile of The Programme |
In the program, industry-based theoretical courses covering electrical, electronic, machinery, hardware, software and control information, which are the basic elements of mechatronic multi-discipline, are given in the classrooms of our vocational school, while application courses are held in the laboratories of the program and computer, electronic and electrical programs. In the Mechatronics Program, Turkish education is given as formal education. In our department opened in the 2019-2020 academic year, 30 students receive education and training as a formal education in the first year. 1 Assoc. Prof. Dr. and 4 Assist. Prof. Dr. work in the program. Internship and technical trip opportunities are provided to students by private sector and public institutions. |
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples |
Graduated students can work as technicians in all production processes related to mechatronics. In addition, our graduates find jobs in the fields of mechatronics research development, product design (electrical electronic mechanical software), manufacturing, quality control and maintenance. Access to Further Studies |
Graduated students can transfer vertically to the Electrical, Electrical Electronic, Electronic, Electronic and Communication, Manufacturing, Control, Machinery, Mechatronics and Space Engineering departments of Engineering Faculties. In addition, there is the possibility of vertical transfer to the Economics and Business Administration departments of Open Education Faculties. |
