Objectives of the Course
It is aimed for students to program the programmable logic controller (PLC) S7-200 with ladder diagram and function blocks and to realize control applications.

Learning Outcomes
1Knows and recognizes the basic principles of PLCs, PLC structure and parts.
2Knows the working principle of PLC and programming methods of PLC.
3Reduces a given system with logical operations and understands the technique of programming the result obtained with a ladder diagram.
4Knows the basic commands in PLCs, the concept of timer and counter and the function of timer and counter commands and uses them in programs.
5Analyzes the structure of a given electromechanical control system and can program the same system with PLC
6It can control a process by programming it with PLC.
