Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) |
The Department Head evaluates the relevant documents showing the success of the students admitted to the PhD program in the courses they have previously completed in an undergraduate program or in a graduate program they are currently attending. Accordingly, the student has the right to be exempt from courses whose equivalence is accepted by the board of directors of the graduate education institute. |
Qualification Requirements and Regulations |
For students accepted to the doctoral program with a master's degree with thesis, a total of twenty-four credits and at least 240 ECTS, including at least eight courses, seminar, qualifying exam, thesis proposal and thesis study, provided that it is not less than 60 ECTS in one academic semester. It consists of credit. Provided that the thesis defense is successful and other conditions are met, the student who submits at least three bound copies of the doctoral thesis to the relevant institute within one month from the date of taking the thesis exam and whose thesis is found to be suitable in terms of form, is entitled to receive a doctoral diploma. |

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading |
There is at least one midterm exam and final exam for each course. The impact of midterm exams on the success grade is 30%, and the impact of the final exam is 70%. All exams are evaluated out of 100 points. Students who receive one of the letter grades (AA), (BA), (BB), (CB) and (CC) from a course are successful. |
