Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to identify the sources and effects of organic pollutants and to understand the methods used in the control of major organic pollutants. It also provides detailed information about the properties, sources, health effects and measurement methods of the most dangerous PAHs, PCBs and Pesticides.

Learning Outcomes
1Gain comprehensive knowledge of the Physical, Chemical and Biological Properties of Hydrocarbons.
2Learn about the properties of PAHs, PCBs and Pesticides, their sources, their harmful effects on living things, measurement methods and source removal issues.
3Measurement methods (Sampling, Extraction and Analysis) of PAHs, PCBs and Pesticides are learned in detail, both theoretical knowledge and practical application.
