Objectives of the Course
Historical process of cities, structure of cities, climate change, causes of climate change, climate change and its relationship with cities, effects of cities on climate change, effects of climate change on cities, methods of reducing the effects of climate change on cities, concepts of climate change policies and the international dimension of climate change. It is intended to provide various information.

1Ability to understand and learn the concepts of urbanization, urban ecological problems, climate change, the causes of climate change, and the factors affecting regional and typological differentiation.

4Ability to understand and learn the strategies, action plans and policies developed to reduce the effects of climate change at the city level

The content of this course; Urbanization, climate change, economic effects of climate change, energy use, greenhouse gas emissions, urban ecology and climate relationship, climate change risks faced by cities, effects of cities on climate change, making cities resilient to climate change, management of the effects of climate change on human health, climate action plans to reduce the effects of change, cities and the international climate change framework, financing of urban climate change solutions, cities at risk of climate change, coastal cities and climate change risks, international collaborations, international climate change prevention policies.
