Objectives of the Course
It is aimed to learn qualitative research patterns, qualitative data collection process and qualitative data collection tools, data analysis methods used in the qualitative research process and reporting process.

Course Contents
What is science and its features? What are scientific morality and ethical principles? What are the main differences between qualitative and quantitative research? Qualitative research and qualitative research designs, qualitative data collection techniques, and qualitative data analysis techniques will be discussed as content.

2Information is given about the scientific research process and ethical rules. Information and definitions are made specifically for the concept of ethics. By providing detailed information about the types of ethical violations, students are prevented from making possible mistakes in scientific processes.
3The characteristics of qualitative research are explained. Detailed information is given by emphasizing the basic differences between quantitative and qualitative research.
4What is a literature review and how is it done? Learns what the resources are for literature review and learns how to use these resources actively.
5Information is given on how to determine the purpose of the research and what to pay attention to when determining the purpose and problems.
6Detailed information is given on how to collect data qualitatively and what qualitative data collection tools are.
7Information about qualitative data collection techniques is given. Information about observation and interview types is given and attention is drawn to their purposes and differences.
