Objectives of the Course
Different forms of writing were used in correspondence in various periods of the Ottoman Empire. In this lesson, documents written in these letters with rika text are taught. Thus, to ensure that they are successful in the archive and library studies to be carried out in the future.

Course Contents
Documents are taught to help students understand what they read and improve their ability to analyze. Documents of the last period of the Ottoman Empire constitute the content of the course. Especially at the end of the 19th century and at the beginning of the 20th century, the archive documents, the language of which is written in plain Greek, are taught. In addition to reading the documents, the text is analyzed in detail.
