Objectives of the Course |
It is aimed for students to recognize the social identity models dominant throughout historical periods, to understand the internal and external factors affecting these models and to explain their reflections in the current socio-cultural structure. Additionally, by realizing the effects of these factors, they will be able to comparatively analyze the stages of social identity in Türkiye. |

Course Contents |
The formation and development processes of identity, which is a social category, are examined and evaluated from the perspective of Turkey. A detailed analysis of Turkey's changing identity definitions and models within the process of social change is made, looking from a historical perspective. |
