To discuss the place of grammar in the new Turkish curriculum, to introduce the ways of intuition and to examine the secondary school grammar acquisitions

1Basic concepts of grammar; Basic features of Turkish in terms of sound, shape, meaning and syntax; grammar teaching and the purpose of grammar teaching; Evaluation of grammar teaching models and approaches (Behavioral, Cognitive and Constructivist) in Turkish Language Curriculum; Grammar gains in the Turkish Language Curriculum (1-8th Grades); subjects in grammar teaching (phonics, morphology, semantics) and the order to be followed in teaching; methods and techniques, examples of activities; text-centered grammar teaching practices.
