To introduce Turkish vocabulary teaching and techniques as a foreign language.

1Recognizes the place and techniques of vocabulary teaching in teaching Turkish to foreigners.
2Compares the traditional vocabulary teaching method (use of dictionary) with contemporary methods.

4Recognize the goals and applications of vocabulary teaching in teaching Turkish to foreigners.
5Recognizes activities to be used in vocabulary teaching and learns to prepare such activities.

Elements of vocabulary (vocabulary / basic words, idioms, proverbs, dilemmas, terms, stereotyped words), recipient and producer word existence; word frequency and prevalence; vocabulary learning strategies; vocabulary teaching techniques.
