Objectives of the Course |
Environmental problems that cross national borders require international management and international environmental regimes. The aim of the International Environmental Policies course is; The aim is to examine the formation of international management mechanisms and policies, the roles and responsibilities of states and other international actors in this regard, the successes and failures in the implementation of policies. |

Course Contents |
In this course, the roles, approaches and studies of states and non-goverment actors in the solution of international environmental problems and in the formation of international environmental policies will be examined. For this purpose, the literature, politics, management science theories and case studies related to the environment will be examined and evaluated together on the topics planned below. In addition, the course will demonstrate the reasons why some environmental international mechanisms are more effective than others and why states comply with environmental regimes. |
