Objectives of the Course |
The purpose of our design: Microbial production is one of the leading areas of the biotechnology sector. The successful development of the microbiological industry depends not only on the production of information, but also on the use of this knowledge in solving the problems encountered in the fields of microbiology, biochemistry, genetics and ecology of microorganisms. The aim of this course is to teach students the basic concepts related to the functioning of microbial populations and their possibilities for use in industrial production. Basic principles of biotechnology, Relationship between microorganisms and biotechnology, Identification of important microorganisms in biotechnology, Bioprocess technology, Gene manipulations in microorganisms, Use of microorganisms in food biotechnology, Production of primary and secondary metabolites with microorganisms, Fermentation, Bacteriocins, Role of microorganisms in the formation of transgenic plants, Environmental Microorganisms : Friend or foe?, The importance of agrobiotechnology are the subjects of narratives within the scope of our lesson. |
