Objectives of the Course
The aim of the course is to provide students with the skills to understand the cause of human behavior in sport environments, to understand, analyze and manage the mental processes and behaviors of athletes.

Learning Outcomes
1Students understand the basic mental processes (motivation, self-confidence, attention, stress management, etc.) in the field of sport psychology
2Students gain the ability to apply psychological strategies (motivational, concentration, stress management, self-confidence enhancement, etc.) used to improve athletes' performance.
3Students develop team communication and leadership skills and gain the competence to apply effective communication and leadership strategies in sports teams.
4Students develop the ability to recognize and solve individual and group psychological problems (performance anxiety, loss of motivation, intra-team conflicts, etc.) that athletes may face.
5Students will be able to use methods of evaluating athletes' performance and gain competence in creating performance improvement plans.
6Students act in accordance with professional and ethical standards in the field of sport psychology and manage psychological counseling processes within the framework of ethical principles.

Within the scope of this course; Increasing the Performance of Athletes, recognizing, understanding and understanding the psychological difficulties that affect performance, understanding the communication between athletes and team dynamics, examining sports psychology research and applications.
