Objectives of the Course |
To examine the place and grammar of Old Uyghur, which is included in the Old Turkish period, and the works that have survived from Old Uyghur to the present day, to enable students to analyze and understand Uyghur texts. |

Course Contents |
History and civilizations of the Uyghurs, phonological and morphological features of the Uyghur Turkish, dialect differences, teaching Buddhist, Manichaean and Christian texts, Sutras and Chatiks from the Uyghurs to the present day, introducing the alphabets used by the Uyghurs and conducting text analysis. |
