Objectives of the Course
The aim of the course is to enable students to learn the concepts of science, scientific research, ethics and publication ethics, scientific research methods, the use of publications, research, citation, plagiarism, self-plagiarism and other violations and the sanctions to be applied in the presence of these violations.

Course Contents
The definition of science and scientific research, the issue of originality in scientific works and the basic concepts of scientific research, methods that can be applied in scientific research, the research of printed publications and the use of databases and access to reliable sources over the internet, the concepts of ethics and publication ethics, plagiarism, self-plagiarism, other violations and sanctions.
