Objectives of the Course
The course's objective is to provide instruction on the theory of stability and the practical applications of structural elements under elastic constraints.
Name of Lecturer(s)
Doç. Dr. Erdal ÖNER
Learning Outcomes
1Performing stability analyses of structural elements in different bending and torsional situations and generating solutions to real-world application problems using elastic stability theory in practical applications
2Learning and analyzing the stability of structural elements considering elastic deformations
3Developing skills to determine the critical loads at which structural elements may be susceptible to instability or buckling
4Determining the stability limit state by using approximate solutions in situations where exact solutions are challenging
