| In this course, it is aimed to introduce and teach the graduate student the basic principles of soil improvement methods, selection and application of soil improvement methods for different soil types. |

| Basic concepts of soil improvement / Compaction theory / Ground stabilization with additives (using lime, lime-fly ash, cement, asphalt and chemicals) / Improving the properties of ground layers / Dynamic compaction, vibroflotation, vibrodisplacement and vibrocompaction methods, preloading and injection methods / Use of geosynthetics / Solid waste storage and clay coatings / Behavior and reclamation of migrant floors. |
