Objectives of the Course
To learn production methods, to shape by casting, to design parts and mold according to production methods, to introduce the use of computer technology in metal casting molds and production methods design.

1According to the technical drawing rules, the computer can display parts views.
2Understand the production methods in metal machine technology.
3It can model three-dimensional solid from two-dimensional geometric drawings.
4It can draw solid models of complex parts.
5To be able to design molds and patterns of designed models.
6It can process designed molds and matches in computer environment.

Computer aided drawing, Manufacturing methods, General casting principles, Solid modeling, Mold and core design, Computer aided design and manufacturing.

6Liquid flow principles and filling of castings (gating calculations)
7Calculation of casting cooling time (module concept)

9Casting and feeding in casts (Feeder accounts)
10Introducing SolidCast Simulation program
11Casting model from CAD environment to simulation environment
