Gain compherensive knowlege about special castings methods. Introduce to importance of special casting methods in industrial applications.

Learning Outcomes
1To be able to recognize the method of forming by casting and to distinguish the differences between other metal forming methods.
2Recognizes metal casting processes and know the difference between them and to be able to give an opinion about which casting process should be used in which situations.
3To be able to comment on how size control can be achieved by casting method.
4To be able to comment on how micro structure and performance can be achieved by casting method.
