1Recognize vocabulary teaching techniques. Learn the use of these techniques in vocabulary teaching. Compares traditional methods of teaching vocabulary (using dictionary) and contemporary methods. Take part in the communication skills of vocabulary. Recognize the place of vocabulary teaching in Turkish teaching. Learn vocabulary teaching activities and learn to prepare such activities.

Elements of vocabulary (vocabulary / basic words, idioms, proverbs, dilemmas, terms, stereotyped words), recipient and producer word existence; word frequency and prevalence; vocabulary learning strategies; vocabulary teaching techniques.
