General informing about 19.th century Islamic World and it’s developments. Geographical positions of Islamic States in the world, their ethnic, economical structures, and their relations with western countries are explained. .

Course Contents
Give information about the Islamic world in the XIX. th Century , independence movements and relations with the European states. The aim of this course is to evaluate the Islamic world in general, the desire of western colonists to gain lands in Ottoman State and other Muslim states in accordance with the colony movements related to Industry Revolution; attitudes of the Western countries before and after the World Wars I and II, mandate regimes, the movements of the Muslim states on the way to freedom. .
