Objectives of the Course
Protestantism emerged as a result of a rebellion that took place in Germany with the 16th century reform movement and protested the Catholic Church clergy and practices. The publication of Martin Luther's 95-point declaration in Wittenberg encouraged many clergy and princes who agreed with him to reform the Catholic Church.Of course, the Catholic Church did not accept this reform. For this reason, Protestantism emerged as the third largest denomination. After this reform movement, movements with many Protestant structures such as Methodism, Anabaptism, Baptism, Quakers, Mormons emerged.
