The main aim of the course is to define the basic concepts related to leadership and motivation and to examine the main theories related to both leadership and motivation.

Course Contents
Within the scope of the course, the definition and importance of leadership, leadership theories (characteristics approach to leadership, behavioral approach, contingency approach, modern approaches), leadership in public administration, variables related to leadership, definition, importance and goals of motivation, motivational tools, motivation theories (scope and process theories, other theories and approaches), motivation in public institutions and variables related to motivation will be emphasized.
