Objectives of the Course
In this course, it is aimed to discuss the historical evoluation of national planning in general and transformation of Turkish planning concept in the focus.

Learning Outcomes
1have a general knowledge on economic planning theory and application. Especially planning in stage.
2understand the economic planning models, especially planning in stage: Macrophase, middlephase, microphase
3understand the status of planning; planning in stage:the choice of alternative growth rates, macroeconomic projections; aggregate consistency models, static input-output analysis, project appraisal. The experience of Turkish Five Year Development Planning and State Planning Organization.
4analyze the economic structure of production, income and employment multipliers using the LO-3
5develop an applicable plan for policy makers.
