Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to enable prospective science teachers to understand the importance of using materials in science teaching and to gain the ability to prepare course materials that they can use in classroom applications. In addition, it is aimed that the candidates will learn about the process of designing materials.

-The importance and use of instructional technologies in the teaching process, -Design and execution of technology planning appropriate to the teaching process, -Selection of teaching materials, principles of design and development of materials, -Teaching material design elements, -Course material development process, -Development of two and three dimensional materials using instructional technologies, -Subject-specific materials and technological tools (virtual classroom and laboratory environments, worksheets, simulations, concept cartoons, animations, slides, visual media materials, scientific measurement tools, etc.) -Other information technologies that can be used in science education (mobile applications, augmented reality applications, web 2.0 tools, learning management systems, assessment and evaluation tools, student response systems, etc.), -Classroom environments supported by technology, -Educational portals and interactive whiteboards, -Developing and using information technologies specific to science teaching.
