Course Contents |
Common structural features of different cell types in humans; cell membrane, nucleus, cytoplasm and organelles are examined at the level of light and electron microscopy. The structure, function, and importance of the cell membrane, histological features of the nucleus and cytoplasm (cytosol and organelles; granular and flat-faced endoplasmic reticulum, mitochondria, golgi complex, lysosome, peroxisome, cytoskeletal components; microtubules, microfilament, centrioles, ribosomes, inclusions). |
