Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to provide information on the concept of human rights, its historical development, the relationship between economics, politics, and the state, as well as the functioning of fundamental human rights documents and institutions at both international and national levels. Additionally, another objective of the course is to make the acquired knowledge applicable in the field of human rights law, which is a practical discipline.

Learning Outcomes
1Understands the historical development of human rights.
2Learns about the relationship between human rights, the state, economy, and politics.
3Can explain the fundamental principles developed for the protection of human rights at international and national levels, as well as how the protection mechanisms operate.
4They will recognize rights such as civil and political rights, social rights, group rights, economic rights, and solidarity rights, which are key achievements of contemporary democratic societies and individuals, and understand their place, significance, and functions as human rights within their respective categories.
5They will gain knowledge about how and in what context human rights are included in internationally accepted treaties, as well as the functioning of protection mechanisms.
6Proposal for solutions on human rights and problems will be brought

The historical process of the concept of human rights The relationship between human rights, the state, economy, and politics Systems related to the regulation of human rights Rules concerning the limitation of human rights The protection of human rights within the United Nations system and at the regional level Means of protection for human rights in domestic law Personal rights and duties, as well as economic, social, cultural, and political rights. These topics collectively form the content of this course."
