Objectives of the Course |
It aims to provide students with general information about the method problem in the field of sociology of religion and contemporary sociology of religion in general, different definitions of religion and ways of dealing with religion-society relations, different religious groups that emerged in the modern world, and religious acceptances that emerged with secularization and modernization. |

The problem of method in the field of contemporary sociology of religion, the views of the founding sociologists and contemporary sociologists on religion and the studies they have done in the field of sociology of religion, modernization, secularization and religion-society relations, different religious groups that emerged in the modern world will be discussed systematically and comparatively. |
