To present the conceptual framework of urban rights and environmental rights and to provide information about the developments regarding these rights in the world and in Turkey.

1Determines the importance of city and environmental rights in terms of human rights, reveals the relationship between city and environment and human rights.
2It reveals the place of urban and environmental rights in national and international legal regulations.
3Analyzes how urban and environmental rights have developed historically.
4Analyzes examples from around the world regarding urban and environmental rights.
5Identifies the developments regarding urban and environmental rights in Turkey and the world and analyzes the problems experienced.

Course Contents
To have information about the conceptual framework of urban and environmental rights, their legal infrastructure, their place in human rights, the developments in the world and in Turkey, to learn about urban rights in line with the European Urban Charter, to learn the responsibility of the public authority regarding urban and environmental rights.
