Objectives of the Course |
The aim of the course is to provide knowledge and skills to students on health promotion concept, determinants of the health behaviors, health promotion models; role of the health education in health promotion; development, implementation and evaluation of a health education program.

Basic terms and approaches on health promotion; Definitions and basic terms on health education; Determinants of the health behaviors and health promotion models; Health promotion projects of WHO (healthy schools, healthy cities, healthy workplaces); Characteristics of adults' learning; Curriculum and health promotion program design for different target groups in the community; Needs assessment, formulating the learning objectives and deciding content; Creating a positive learning climate; Interactive training techniques; Evaluation of the program on health education program; Group dynamics, group process and phases of the group; Development of audio-visuals and written materials; Implementation of the program, evaluate of implementation results and present them.
